Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Graham Wilcox
Mr. Wilcox holds degrees from The Culinary Institute of America, Portland State University, and California State University, Monterey Bay. His undergraduate work focused on the social sciences, with a primary emphasis on economics, US history, and cultural anthropology. He holds a master’s of science in instructional science and technology from CSU Monterey Bay. Mr. Wilcox earned his multiple subject teaching credential from Fresno State University, and single subject credential in the social sciences from National University.
Mr. Wilcox has been teaching in California schools for five years, teaching various elementary grade levels in the Davis/Esparto area, Fort Bragg, and Daly City.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Mr. Wilcox utilized his vocational degree in the culinary arts from The Culinary Institute of America by working as a chef in cities all along the Western United States. While the experience was rewarding, he felt the pull toward becoming an educator as a way of becoming more involved in the community in which he served.
In his spare time, Mr. Wilcox enjoys cycling, bird watching, kayaking, camping and reading books about US history.
